Tanisha Mahesh
Tanisha Mahesh is 18 years old. She’s a student and a dancer. She started with Bharathnatyam at age 9 and completed her Arangetram at age 16. Her love and passion for dance has made her explore and learn different forms and expressions of dance.
She then started training with LVDS in Hip-Hop, B-boying, Comtemporary, Salsa and Bollywood when she was 13. She was also a part of the first team that represented India at the Dance World Cup 2013 in Brighton and won a silver and bronze.
She was again selected to represent India at the Dance World Cup 2014 in Algarve and won 3 silvers in Hip-hop and National folk. She’s also trained in Hindustani classical.
She has performed in Delhi, Chennai, Kerala and Bangalore. She has also won a scholarship to train under Ian Eastwood. What once started as a Hobby is now something she aspire to do for the rest of her life. Her passion lies in expression through dance and she someday hopes to travel the world to teach Dance.
