Archana Kumar​

Archana Kumar is an independent performing artist/choreographer/ teacher. Her love affair with dance began more than 2 decades ago. Her initial training was in Bharatanatyam, later has been extensively trained in Kathak and modern dance techniques.

Archana Kumar is a professional performing artist, trained extensively in Kathak, modern dance and physical theatre. Her solo works are experimental, post modern, improvisational and rich in cultural pluralism that blend philosophies of Butoh, physicality of modern dance & yoga with narrative aspects of Indian classical dance.

She lived in USA for 10 years where she taught Kathak forming Manasarovar Kathak and now resides and teaches in Bangalore, India.
